G2 Making the Squad: Fortnite Edition is an 8 x 22-minute series focused on 10 of the most engaging Fortnite streamers from around the globe as they compete for a coveted spot on the G2 Esports Creator roster.
Contestants are tested for both their Fortnite gaming skills and how they cope with ‘in real life (IRL)’ challenges inspired by the game.
I was responsible for casting 10 streamers, 1 host and a number of special guests from the gaming world. Budget was incredibly tight, and with a huge chunk of it going on recreating the look and feel of Fortnite, it meant that we had to utilise the sponsors and the beauty of the location when creating ideas for the challenges.
